Itchy skin/liver problem?

i've had itchy skin for years because of my liver problem.. i cant sleep at night and its getting worse because of hot weather.. im at holiday at the momemt so i cant visit a doctor... i have itch all over my body and i dont know what to do.. does any one know how i can stop it? its because of my liver problem causing dry skin.. please help
