I need to know what these bumps are!?

I have been getting these little pimple like bumps in the fold of my genital area (above the vagina) that sometimes itch/hurt and usually go away within 5-7 days. I went to the doctor's for them and the doctor's said it looked alot like folliculitis. But they keep coming back in the same exact spot (its not alot of bumps just a few). Even tho my significant other has no sign of herpes (we've been having unprotected sex for 3 months now) im scared that I have it. Please someone helppp!!!
